Day 6

Did a last minute shopping.

Because our hotel is near the Monkey Forest, we can walk through the forest to get to the happening area of Ubud.

On the way back from shopping, a monkey dashed towards us and grabbed Matt's shopping bag, stuck his arms in the bag and snatched a newly bought stone carved photo frame which we planned to frame up our memorable and lovely photos of us in Bali!

Stupid monkey thought it is some food, he took it and ran with it!

During our first visit to the Monkey Forest, when we were still saying how cute they are, a monkey suddenly jumped on my head for nothing!

NOT CUTE after all... damn monkeys!

Anyway, so at night we took the last car ride to Seminyak for dinner at an Italian restaurant by the beach. On the way there, our driver ran over a cat...(nya!)
What is it!? Karma?

We knew it wouldn't have survived and said give up and go on...
But the driver asked our permission to get the dead cat because he has to bury it. It is the Bali tradition - Hindu I think.
So he came back and boarded with a plastic bag. Thankfully Matt asked me to imagine it's just a poultry in a shopping bag.

Shame on us who would have left the dead body on the road. And salute the Balinese tradition.
